The Government of Canada has established an Innovation Fund to support innovation in universities, colleges and hospitals by funding
infrastructures. Infrastructure is defined as equipment, specimens, scientific collections, computer software, information databases, communication linkages, and other intangible properties used or to be used primarily for carrying on research, including housing and installations essential for the use and servicing of those things. Dr. David W.
