Dr. Salvador Parrado-Díez works at the Department of Political and Administrative Science of the Spanish Distance Learning University (UNED). Previously, he was a lecturer at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He has a Masters degree and Ph.D. in Political Science from the Universidad Computense of Madrid. Dr. Parrado-Díez has been a visiting scholar in a number of European academic institutions such as the Universities of Bamberg and Berlin, the Research Institute for Public Administration in Speyer as well as University of Central Lancashire and De Montfort University in England. He has a wide experience in training civil servants and elected officials in Rumania, Egypt, Mexico and Spain. His present research fields are comparative public administration, public management and local governance. Nationality: Spanish.
