Dr. Roli Varma

Dr. Roli Varma has a B.A. Political Science, McGill University, Canada; an M.A. Political Science, State University of New York (SUNY), USA, an M.S. Science, Technology, and Values, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute USA, and a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Studies, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA. She has been a Regents Professor and is currently Professor of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico, USA. She is very widely published and has secured numerous grants from the National Science Foundation. Her books include Harbingers of Global Change: India's Techno-Immigrants in the United States and Managing Industrial Research Effectively.
Dr. Varma's research spans Science and Technology Policy, Asian Immigrants in the Science and Engineering Workforce, Women and Minorities in Information Technology Education, Management of Industrial Science, and Professional Ethics. Her website is at: http://www.unm.edu/~varma/index.html
