1. The Report on Austria' Scientific and Technological Performance Capability 2014. The report analyses and evaluates Austria’s scientific and technological capability in an international comparison as well as the progress that has been made toward achieving the goals of the Federal Government’s Strategy for Research, Technology and Innovation (RTI-Strategy). For this purpose, the Austrian Council uses a set of 73 indicators which was developed in collaboration with the Austrian Institute for Economic Research. The 73 indicators depict Austria's performance in relation to the Innovation Leaders according to the Innovation Union Scoreboard (IUS). They also reflect the objectives contained in the RTI-Strategy. All indicators are based on international and national data from the OECD, Eurostat, Statistik Austria etc.
